Our finance team includes a well regarded corporate recovery and insolvency team giving focused and timely advice to both creditors and debtors and their expertise assists in our client planning and adds value at every stage of the process.

In conjunction with our real estate and infrastructure teams, the team advises property companies, retailers, large occupiers and local authorities on financing real estate and infrastructure projects.  We handle the full range of multi-national project finance initiatives in both the public and private sectors, for projects ranging in value from £10 million to £1 billion.

Our corporate finance team works with a wide range of clients from huge multinationals to fast-growing entrepreneurs.  We specialise in complex and novel transactions, offering genuine cross-border expertise and global coverage.  Our able asset finance has particular expertise in shipping and aviation finance, including superyachts and private jets, where the team has an unrivalled reputation.

Our market leading commodity team is supported by our long standing reputation for providing trade finance advice. The team has particular experience of working in the new and emerging markets of the CIS, Africa and Asia.  This includes advising the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), and acting for the Government Export Credit and Guarantee Department on both contentious and non-contentious matters.

Unusually, our finance team also includes a specialist banking litigation and arbitration team, which is almost unique in this area as being part of an elite disputes firm that is not conflicted from acting for or against many of the major global banking institutions.  This group has undertaken a number of significant disputes and has a leading reputation.
