Social infrastructure

Although the global financial crisis has tightened funding for social infrastructure projects, PPPs in this sector generally have low risk profiles, which makes them likely be the first to attract finance from the debt capital markets as the credit crisis gradually starts to loosen.

We have helped our clients build the social infrastructure necessary for the operation of societies – having acted on education, defence, health and social care projects around the globe, including advising the consortium in respect of the £1 billion Barts and the London hospital PFI project in the UK and advising on the construction, operation and maintenance contracts for a suite of pathfinder university PPP projects in Abu Dhabi, including the proposed Sorbonne, Zayed and New York Universities.

Our clients include a broad cross-section of the projects industry including developers, contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers, facility managers, banks, investors, governments and local authorities.  This varied client base gives us the rounded view you need for your project, both commercially and legally.
