Clyde & Co has reached an agreement with Shadbolt LLP that their London-based construction and infrastructure projects and dispute teams, as well as their Paris office and UK corporate practice, join Clyde & Co with effect from 1 February 2010. We have also concluded arrangements for the continuation of Shadbolt's Tanzanian joint venture.
This agreement builds further on Clyde & Co's ability to offer their clients a strengthened international practice for construction and infrastructure advice across the existing Clyde & Co network as well as now through a joint venture in Tanzania (Dar es Salaam).
The combined team, led by over 20 specialist real estate and construction partners, has a vast amount of experience in the sector and work with a broad cross-section of the construction and infrastructure industry. They will form a leading practice advising on all aspects of construction disputes, including international arbitration, and on the full range of infrastructure projects in the energy, transport and social infrastructure sectors including PPP and PFI transactions as well as international project finance.
As a result of this agreement, the majority of associates and trainees within the relevant areas have individually decided to join Clyde & Co with effect from 1 February. The senior members of the transferring team and their CVs can be found below. To read the press release in its entirety, please click here.
