Clyde & Co has acted for UniChem in its recent acquisition of Central Homecare, an established provider of home healthcare services in the UK.
Central Homecare provides a number of homecare services to patients that would normally be managed within the hospital environment. This includes the management of complex drug therapies, helping them to improve quality of life and to manage care routine. Central Homecare is based in Alton, Hampshire and was established in 1994.
UniChem, the UK wholesale business of Alliance Boots, is based in Chessington, Surrey. This acquisition will enable UniChem to offer new and enhanced distribution opportunities to its supplier customers.
