Clyde & Co today announced that Leigh Borrello has joined its rapidly expanding Aviation Finance group as partner with responsibility for South East Asia. The total number of partners in the firm’s Aviation and Aerospace group now stands at 36.
Leigh will lead the group's newly established Singapore-based aviation finance team, which will comprise further dedicated aviation finance lawyers and a partner from the London team who will spend up to 50% of his time in the region. The team represents one of the largest specialised aviation finance practices in South East Asia and will complement our well established contentious practice in the region.
Leigh joins the group from Norton Rose and has been based in Asia for the last 8 years. He is an experienced adviser to those involved in the aviation finance and leasing business throughout South East Asia, and is qualified in both England and Wales and Australia.
