Alan Meneghetti is a partner in Clyde & Co's commercial/IT/IP team. Alan is frequently involved in commercial transactions and outsourcings in the IT, BPO and aviation sectors, both on a cross-border as well as a national basis. He advises his clients regularly on IP, IT, data protection/privacy and general commercial agreements covering a broad range of areas from outsourcings, R&D and software development agreements, agreements for the provision of services, agreements for the implementation of IT solutions and the hosting of IT equipment, data and applications, and privacy and data protection policies.
Alan is the author of two chapters in International Outsourcing Law and Practice (Kluwer) as well as the chapter on the United Kingdom in "Outsourcing Legal Services: Impact on National Law Practices" (2012 special issue of the "Comparative Law Yearbook of International Business" (Kluwer)). He is also a lecturer on commercial aviation law for the IATA Diploma in Aviation Law, and is a regular reviewer of legal textbooks and speaker at conferences and seminars dealing with IT, data protection, outsourcing and commercial aviation work.
