His practice also includes domestic and international arbitration cases and Court proceedings. Anthony is also well known for his work in the field of expert determination and adjudication, including references to DABs. He has substantial experience in various methods of Alternative Dispute Resolution, including mediation. He has trained as a mediator, and is on the list of mediators of the Technology and Construction Solicitors' Association.
He has worked with numerous barristers, claims consultants and expert witnesses on a wide variety of claims and has extensive experience of dealing with disputes under all forms of contract. He has also conducted claims on behalf of insurers in relation to professional indemnity and contractor’s all risks insurance policies.
His litigation experience includes acting for a subsidiary of a major UK plc in connection with a £40m eight-party dispute arising out of a development of a retail park in Luton, and acting for a large building contractor in a £multi-million dispute relating to a new cinema complex in the UK. He has also advised a client in relation to a multi-million pound dispute concerning a complex of luxury apartments and retail units in Gibraltar, which included delay, disruption and defects issues, and successfully resolved a £40 million claim relating to the refurbishment of a hotel development in central London.
