- Barry has been engaged in world wide investigations of various marine casualties including collisions, allisions, strandings, sinkings, fires, explosions, structural failures, cargo damage, container losses, crew claims, loss of life and personal injuries
- In addition to casualty investigations, Barry advises on ship repair, sale & purchase and charterparty disputes particularly those relating to misdescription, ship performance claims and unsafe ports
- Barry also has extensive experience in co-ordinating shallow water and deep water diving surveys with completed investigations in the Gulf, Red Sea, Indian Ocean, North Atlantic Ocean, the Mediterranean and North European waters
- Barry works closely with clients and legal teams and advises on causation and liability issues
