Chamika qualified in October 2004 as part of the insurance and reinsurance group. She specialises in complex litigation and arbitration with a particular focus on professional liability and product liability.
Chamika has considerable experience working with insurers in the London Market. She spent 6 months working in the D&O claims team at AIG London where she dealt with a wide variety of claims against North American and domestic insureds. She has also spent time on secondment to the legal team at Generali and more recently in the Professional Indemnity claims team at Xchanging.
Chamika has acted in a number of domestic and international arbitrations, including ACI, LCIA, Ad Hoc and Bermuda form.
