  • Acting for Ericsson in Technology and Construction Court litigation arising from the Government's FiReControl Project in a software development claim for £12 million and counter-claim for £41 million
  • Acting for a major Plc in a dispute with a commercial customer relating to the construction of contract terms worth approximately £20 million
  • Counsel for IATA, including representing member airlines against major clearing banks over the liability of a bank to account for trust monies and asset tracing/recovery actions against defaulting travel agents
  • Acting for 71 IATA member airlines in a potential multi-million pound fraud by a travel agent including working alongside the City of London Police Fraud Squad
  • Representing HM Government against an African state in relation to Sovereign debt in excess of £100m
  • Acting for a major Plc in a claim against a Government Department for rectification of a PFI contract with a claim value of £68m
  • Acting for a group of 30 participants in a tax sheltering scheme after they lost £6m of trust monies in the collapse of the accountants Wenham Major, including issues of existence of a trust; wrongful use of trust monies; Directors' negligence; Third Party (Rights Against Insurers) Act; tracing; Clayton's case prioritisation; nature of Banks' obligations and knowledge as to the existence of and accounting ofS trust monies
  • Defending an outsourcing company in a customer brought claim alleging fraud by our client's employees to an estimated value of over £18 million following a police swoop, arrests and subsequent investigation
  • Defending the owner of one of the world's largest collections of bronze age artefacts in an attempted prosecution by the Metropolitan Police relating to the international movement of art and antiquities
  • Representing G4S plc in numerous cases involving theft and robbery by employees/thieves from security vans/guards delivering cash to ATMs including seeking compensation orders in criminal proceedings, and asset tracing/recovery
  • Representing a US shareholder in a section 994 unfair prejudice claim
  • Acting for a major utility company pursuing and defending numerous contract/trading disputes
  • Supervising a thriving debt collection/recovery team
