David is a Consultant of the aviation group. He joined Clyde & Co in July 2005 through the merger with Beaumont and Son.
David graduated from Southampton University with an LLB (Hons) and the College of Law, joining Beaumont and Son in 1978 qualifying as a Solicitor in 1980. He was made a partner in 1986, working in the aviation department.
David opened Beaumont and Son's office in Rio de Janeiro in 1988 and was their resident partner for two and a half years until returning to London. In 2002 he relocated to the Singapore office where he was engaged in a variety of aviation related matters in the region. He returned to London again in 2012, as a Consultant to the firm.
David undertakes all aspects of aviation liability work. He has extensive experience of dealing with matters in the UK, France and Francophone countries, South America, India, European and Scandinavian countries, the Asia-Pacific region, and the USA. He speaks French and Portuguese.
