David graduated from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in English language, and a Bachelor of Laws.
He is admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand and of the Supreme Court of Victoria, Australia.
David commenced practice with a specialist patent and trade mark attorney firm in Wellington, New Zealand. In July 2000, he joined the trade marks team of one of Australia’s largest law firms. He joined Clyde & Co in January 2006.
David specializes in intellectual property law, with a particular focus on trade mark law.
