Deborah Elsasser joined Clyde & Co as senior counsel in March 2008. Deborah brings to the firm over 18 years of litigation experience representing airlines, product manufacturers, multi-national corporations, insurers and reinsurers. She has extensive experience in all phases of litigation in state and federal courts, and in commercial and reinsurance arbitration proceedings.
Deborah is a graduate of Boston College (B.S., 1985) and St. John's University School of Law (J.D. 1988), and was admitted to the New York Bar in 1989. She is admitted in the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the First, Second, Third, Eleventh and D.C. Circuits. She is a member of the American Bar Association, Defense Research Institute and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.
Deborah has served as a contributing author to New York Law of Torts (West 1994) and Aviation Litigation (ABA, anticipated 2008), and has participated as a speaker at several conferences on aviation litigation and insurance law.
