DR Lee is Head of the Korean Team. He is in charge of and responsible for Korean businesses. He is a qualified English solicitor and has obtained both an English law degree (LLB) and a law Masters degree (LLM) in the UK. DR joined Clyde & Co London in 1999.
He has extensive experience in shipping, trading and commercial litigation in the High Court in London, LMAA and ICC arbitration and alternative dispute resolution.
While dealing with a full range of international trade and marine-related issues, he focuses particularly on issues related to shipbuilding contracts, charterparties, international trade, bills of lading, sale contracts, marine insurance and marine casualties.
DR advises many leading shipping organisations including P&I clubs in London, Hong Kong and Singapore, major shipping companies, ship operators, shipbuilders, marine insurers, international traders, and oil companies. His clients are mainly located in the Far East and he maintains a high reputation in the maritime and shipbuilding industries in Korea.
DR is a regular speaker on maritime issues at a variety of seminars and conferences both in London and abroad.
