DR Lee is a senior solicitor at Marine Transportation Department of Clyde & Co London.
He joined Clyde & Co London in 1999, before which he worked for 10 years as Head of Legal Team at STX Pan Ocean Co., Ltd (formerly Pan Ocean Shipping Co., Ltd of Korea).
He has considerable experience in shipping practice and specialises in litigation in the High Court in London, LMAA arbitration and alternative dispute resolution.
While dealing with a full range of marine-related issues, he focuses particularly on issues related to marine casualties, charterparties, bills of lading, sale contracts, marine insurance and reinsurance, cargo recovery claims, shipbuilding contracts, and international trade, including letter of credits etc.
He has advised many leading shipping organisations including protection & indemnity clubs in London, Hong Kong and Singapore, major shipping companies, ship operators, shipbuilders, marine insurers, international traders, and oil companies.
DR speaks regularly on maritime issues at many seminars and conferences, both in London and abroad.
