- Acted for Insurers in a subrogated claim against the Hampshire Fire Brigade, Capital & Counties Plc v Hampshire County Council -Court of Appeal 1997. This was the first time a claim of negligence against a fire brigade in the UK had been successful and is the leading authority on the liability of fire brigades and public authorities
