Igor is a senior lawyer based in the Moscow office. Having graduated from the Law Faculty of Moscow State University Igor has obtained additional legal training from the Central European University (Budapest).
He has experience in a variety of work, primarily in company law, mergers and acquisitions, compliance, intellectual property, securities, and general commercial transactions. This has mainly been through work in house in large Moscow based companies.
Prior to joining CLSI LLP, Igor was head of corporate governance within the legal function for VimpelCom - a major Russian cellular telecom provider. In 2004-2005 he served as the secretary of VimpelCom's board of directors and was VimpelCom group's chief compliance officer.
He has also been deputy director of corporate affairs at Nestlé Food LLC, Moscow and was employed by NIKoil Investment Banking Group, Moscow (connected to LUKoil Group).
