• Advising on the legal, regulatory and structuring aspects of the listing on AIM of a UAE based company engaged in providing services to the oil and gas exploration and production industry.  The company was valued at the time of listing at US$752m
• Advising on the legal, regulatory and structuring aspects, documentation and financing for a US$1.5billion mixed use residential, tourist and leisure complex in the Middle East
• Advising on and effecting the re-structuring of a group of retail trading companies operating in several countries in the region, advising on a substantial private equity investment in the reorganised group (valuing the group at over AED 800 million) and a proposed initial public offering
• Advising on the disposal of a group of companies operating in seven separate regional jurisdictions across the Middle East for US$90m
• Advising on the sale and transfer of the assets, throughout the GCC, of a major multinational company in the financial services sector
• Advising on a corporate restructuring project in the energy sector involving local and foreign creditors across the Middle East for US$150m
• Advising a UAE company on all of the regulatory and structuring aspects of its proposal to raise AED$1.25billion of new capital and subsequently to list its shares on a regional stock exchange
• Advising a multinational corporation on the acquisition of a healthcare business operating in seven countries in the Middle East as part of a global acquisition worth in excess of US$8billion
