Louisa represents insurers in connection with claims made under technology insurance policies and has extensive experience assisting clients on complex commercial and intellectual property disputes, including experience litigating intellectual property disputes in state and federal courts and proceedings before the International Trade Commission.
She has frequently worked as part of a multiple-office team for international clients litigating disputes in multiple forums and has also prepared patent opinion letters, and patent litigation risk analyses.
Louisa graduated magna cum laude from the University of San Francisco School of Law and received a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Reed College. She is admitted to practice in California and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Louisa serves on the board of directors for the West Contra Costa County Education Fund.
