Martin joined the firm as a Partner in July 2010 and has been involved with international legal work for almost 30 years with particular emphasis on trade and investment with the Middle East and North America, having managed his firm's offices in Riyadh and Washington, DC.
Martin's clients are a combination of corporate clients, leading families and prominent individuals from the Middle East, North America and South Asia.
He is involved in strategic planning with his clients often in multiple jurisdictions and involves a broad range of practice areas including: international trade, oil and gas, inward investment, corporate and corporate finance, real estate and leisure projects, dispute resolution and related taxation and structuring for corporate clients and for family succession purposes.
Martin is the immediate past chairman of a global legal network and although based in London plays a strategic co-ordinating role between the firm's overseas offices, particularly Saudi Arabia and the Middle East, London and North America.
Martin is a founding Trustee of the Duke of York's new charitable Foundation and is a member of the Saudi British Society, the Middle East Association and the International Bar Association.
