Matthew W. Bauer maintains a complex litigation practice concentrating in transportation, premises liability, product liability, and general business disputes. He is a member of the Defense Research Institute and its Trucking Law Committee, the Transportation Lawyers Association and the American Bar Association Commercial Transportation Litigation Committee. Matt also participates as a Barrister in the Worrall F. Mountain American Inn of Court.
While in law school, he was both a Member (1994-1995) and an Articles Editor (1995-1996) of the Rutgers Law Journal. From 1996 to 1997, Matt was the Law Clerk for the Hon. Steven L. Lefelt, J.S.C. (now J.A.D., retired). He is a graduate of the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC) Trial Academy at Stanford University.
Matt served as a commissioned officer in the United States Navy from 1988 to 1992.
