Michael is a long-standing member of the marine & transport department, having been with the firm for over 30 years. He is an Associate of the Institute of Legal Executives and specialises in maritime law and arbitration, particularly involving the carriage of cargo and goods by sea, road and air.
Michael has been involved in all types of carriage cases, involving ships, cargo, charters, road, logistics, warehousing, liens, transhipments and marine insurance.
His clients are mainly involved in the transport sector and include insurers, traders, producers, growers, cargo owners, hauliers and ship's representatives.
Michael has extensive experience handling matters in the High Court and Arbitration, including LMAA and ICC, the detention and sale of ships, and deals with full range of transport-related issues, both in the UK and overseas.
