Nick is a partner in the marine transportation department based in London. He joined Clyde & Co in 2002 from another London law firm.
He specialises in shipping, trading and commercial litigation in both court and arbitration proceedings. Nick acts for a wide range of shipowners, charterers, P&I clubs, traders, cargo interests and their insurers in relation to charterparty, bill of lading and general shipping and trading matters.
He also focuses on oil and dry cargo trading disputes and frequently represents major commodity trading houses across the globe.
Nick is an accomplished and well-known lecturer, both nationally and internationally, on the legal aspects of shipping and trading.
He is a member of the LCIA (London Court of International Arbitration) and a supporting member of the London Maritime Arbitrators Association.
