Nick has been a partner in Clyde & Co's marine casualty department since 1984 specialising in the investigation and conduct of a wide range of marine casualty cases, in particular, collisions, allisions, salvage, general average, towage and shiprepair disputes.
He represents hull and cargo underwriters, shipowners and their P&I Clubs, the owners/operators of offshore installations, jetty owners, harbour and pilotage authorities.
He has extensive experience of handling litigation and arbitration arising out of marine casualties both in the UK and in many foreign jurisdictions. Nick has been recognised by Legal 500 (2007) as a notable individual for wet shipping. He has also been recognised as a leader in wet shipping in Chambers 2008 and in the International Who's Who of Shipping & Maritime Lawyers 2008.
Nick is the firm's representative on the City of London Admiralty Solicitors Group.
