Philip is a senior equity partner and leads the aviation finance group at Clyde & Co.
His main area of practice and specialism is aviation finance, where he is recognised as a 'leading expert' and regularly receives commendations in the legal directories for being 'very strong' and for 'dealing with all the big points without ever over-lawyering them' (Legal 500).
Originally with another City firm specialising in aircraft finance, Philip also spent part of his career as legal director of the commercial aircraft business at British Aerospace. A regular speaker at industry events, Philip also advises on a range of general matters relating to the aviation and aerospace sectors.
Philip has a broad client base of lessors, airlines, financiers and aviation companies in a number of countries and has led successful transactions involving literally hundreds of aviation assets in a large number of jurisdictions across all the continents.
