Phil joined Clyde & Co's tax department in 2007. He has over 7 years of experience in corporate tax having spent more than 6 years working for one of New Zealand's leading law firms.
He specialises in the tax aspects of corporate transactions including share acquisitions and disposals and corporate reorganisations and restructuring. Phil also has expertise in indirect taxation including VAT and duties. In addition, Phil advises on employment issues including HMRC approved share schemes and the tax treatment of non-residents working in the UK. Phil also advises regularly on issues arising out of the UK's double tax agreements.
