• Advised a prominent and leading business group in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in connection with the structuring and implementation of an investment of up to approximately USD 2 billion in respect of a joint venture between a listed US entity and a government entity in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the purposes of an integrated green field metal project with a value of approximately USD 10 billion.
• Advised a consortium of investors, including two major investment banks and a Saudi based private equity firm on an acquisition with a value of approximately USD 100 million of a construction company based in the UAE.
• Advised a private equity arm of a major international bank on the complete acquisition of a group engaged in the equipment rental business in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar for approximately USD 60 million.
• Advised a Saudi based development company on an USD 225 million acquisition of an interest in a UAE based development company for the purpose of a multi-use development with an estimated value of USD 2 billion.
• Advised a Saudi based private equity firm on an USD 120 million acquisition of a stake in a contracting company in the UAE.
• Advised a Saudi based private equity firm on an USD 37 million acquisition of an interest in a media company through its holding company in Mauritius.
• Advised on the sale of a 45% stake in Emirates Techno Casting, an international provider of steel castings used in the oil and gas industry, to Dubai International Capital.
• Advised a federal governmental authority in the UAE on the acquisition of a substantial stake in a group of companies providing money exchange services in the UAE, Hong Kong and the United Kingdom.
• Advised an Indian company in the business of manufacturing pipes on its listing on NASDAQ Dubai.
• Advised various international business groups on their establishment, business and operations in the UAE.
• Advised an entity in Qatar on a petrochemical-related joint venture with a South Korean entity.
