Ray is a commercial litigation partner with over 20 years experience in a wide range of heavyweight disputes, including fraud, breach of contract and negligence.
He has particular expertise in insurance and reinsurance disputes, often with an international dimension. Together with fellow partners he won the Dispute Resolution Team of the Year in the 2004 Legal Business Awards.
His insurance work includes policy construction, placing issues and brokers' responsibilities. Ray has been involved in commercial litigation in areas ranging across energy, construction, aviation, marine transport, political risk, professional negligence, personal accident, life assurance and financial services. These disputes involve court and arbitration proceedings, both in England and foreign jurisdictions and increasingly mediation processes.
