Sapna graduated from Oxford University in 1997, and was called as a Barrister by Lincoln’s Inn in 1999. Prior to joining Clyde & Co’s Dubai office in early 2006, she spent several years in practice at the Independent Bar in England. She was named as an ‘up-and-coming’ barrister in Chambers & Partners 2006 and was praised for ‘wonderful work and a creative mind’.
Sapna manages a variety of local and international litigation and arbitration, with specific expertise in international commercial arbitration. She graduated with a distinction from Queen Mary University, London with a diploma in international commercial arbitration in 2006, and is qualified as an arbitrator. She has managed cases spanning a number of industries under local and international sets of arbitration rules, including those of the International Chamber of Commerce (‘ICC’), London Court of International Arbitration (‘LCIA’), and Dubai International Arbitration Centre (‘DIAC’). She has substantial advocacy experience and has represented clients before the High Court and other civil courts in the UK, and the Courts of the Dubai International Financial Centre (‘DIFC’).
