- Advising London insurers on denial of coverage of a claim for physical damage and third party liabilities in respect of subsea pipelines along the Mediterranean coast of Israel. Policy governed by English law and jurisdiction but contracts governed by Israeli law. Supervised mediation proceedings in Israel.
- Advising CAR insurers on a Sue & Labour claim following an incident with pipe-handling equipment onboard world's second largest semi-submersible during pipelaying activities in ultra deep waters. Insured withdrew its claim.
- Advising reinsurers following an alleged blow out of a well in the Gulf of Mexico. Issues arose as to the governing law and jurisdiction and the effect of a breach of a late notification provision.
- Settling claims for physical damage loss of production income on behalf of CAR insurers following accelerated corrosion to subsea pipelines in Denmark and Norway. Coordinating advices from Danish and Norwegian lawyers. Advising on coverage and under-insurance issues.
- Acting for reinsurers in relation to an £86m Delay in Start Up Claim arising out of the construction of a pipeline across Ecuador.
- Advising CAR insurers in relation to US$1000m claim following damage to risers offshore Norway. Governing law and jurisdiction was Norwegian but English law was persuasive. Interpretation of defective design provisions under the Policy and the number of occurrences.

Advising liability insurers of drilling operators on primary and excess layers following a well out of control incident and mud volcano near Java, Indonesia and managing /coordinating advices from lawyers in Indonesia, and USA (Houston) together with our own advice.
Onshore
- Advising Insurers in denying cover in respect of a Machinery Breakdown and Business Interruption claim following the breakdown of a gas turbine in the UK.
- Advising insurers on prospects of subrogation following a blade failure on a turbine at a large power station in Chile, shortly after a major overhaul. Legal Issues also arose concerning the applicable law and jurisdiction of the Policy.
- Drafting Confidentiality Agreements between insurers and the leading power generation company in Turkey.
- Advising reinsurers on a machinery breakdown claim following electrical outages at a power station in Turkey. Involved numerous reinsurance law issues including whether the reinsurance was back to back.
- Advising Insurers on prospects of a subrogated recovery following a physical damage and business interruption claim at a CCGT plant in Turkey.
- Acting for reinsurers in relation to a business interruption claim following an explosion at a naphtha hydrodesulphurisation plant in Luanda.
- Advising Texas lawyers on how to obtaining evidence from London brokers for use in proceedings in Texas, under the Hague Convention.
- Providing ad hoc advice in French to Moroccan commodities company in relation to various commercial contract disputes.
