Susanni joined Clyde & Co London in 1998, before which she worked in-house at a London P&I Club, handling maritime disputes.
She specialises in dispute resolution and has significant litigation experience, in the High Court and in LMAA and ICC arbitration. Susanni is also qualified as an advocate and solicitor in Singapore, her country of origin.
She has an international practice with principally European and South-East Asian clients from the transportation and energy (oil and gas) sectors. Her caseload comprises largely of disputes under shipping and commodities and related contracts, such as charterparties, sale and purchase agreements and bills of lading, as well as shipbuilding, ship sale/purchase and marine insurance contracts.
She has acted for shipowners, charterers, oil/gas majors, oil traders / operators and hull insurers. She has a particular interest in and advises on LNG shipping contracts. She lectures regularly on the Oxford Princeton Programme (International Oil Trading) Course.
