William is a senior assistant solicitor in Clyde & Co's marine trade and transport group and has been with the firm since 1987.
He has a masters degree in shipping, carriage of goods and civil procedure.
He specialises in all areas of marine insurance, dry shipping, cargo claims and transport-related litigation and dispute resolution, including international arbitration and mediation.
