Clyde & Co strengthens its Asia Pacific Hospitality and Real Estate Practice

Global law firm Clyde & Co has appointed Mahoney Smith as Special Counsel.

Mahoney has more than 15 years of experience specialising in hospitality and real estate transactions. She works across a variety of sectors including hospitality and leisure, commercial, industrial, retail and residential with a client base including REITS, ASX-listed companies and unlisted corporates. She assists clients on all aspects of the hospitality project development cycle, including acquisitions and disposals, mixed-use developments, management agreements and leasing transactions.

Mahoney has extensive experience in the hospitality and tourism industries including performing advisory work in relation to various hotels and projects throughout Australia, New Zealand and the Asia Pacific region. She has assisted international hotel operating companies and owners with all aspects of franchise and management agreements, operations and dispute resolution in the Asia Pacific region, including Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.

Mahoney joins Clyde & Co from Dentons where she served as a Director. Prior to Dentons, she was a partner with DibbsBarker, and worked at DLA Piper in the real estate and hospitality sectors.
