On-demand webinar: Culture, diversity & inclusion in law firms

Culture, diversity and inclusion have never been more important in law firms than they are now. The Solicitors Regulatory Authority has been clear that this needs to be a focus for both firms and individuals. It is important to get things right from an employment law perspective and from an employee relations standpoint, getting it right in this area helps attract and retain the best talent.

This 60 minute webinar is led by Fergal Cathie, our lead regulatory lawyer for law firms, Chris Holme, who chairs our Professional Services sector group and advises a number of law firms in relation to people issues they are facing, and Vicki Jervis, a senior associate in our employment department.

The session covers:

  1. What is expected of firms and individuals from a regulatory perspective?
  2. What are a law firm's employment law obligations around culture, diversity and inclusion?
  3. Are there expectations in terms of employee relations?
  4. Our recommendations for a route map for meeting these expectations and obligations in the context of good people and risk management as a whole.

This webinar is aimed at HR and risk professionals, within law firms, those with regulatory responsibilities such as COLPs and COFAs, General Counsel in law firms, and others with an interest in the regulatory and employment law aspects of culture, diversity and inclusion in professional services firms.
