Overview

Chile Series Two – Wednesday 22 June 2022 11:00am - 12:00pm (Santiago/Miami, GMT-4) 4:00pm - 5:00pm (London, GMT+1)

Clyde & Co is pleased to announce our second Latin America Litigation School will continue June 2022. This webinar series provides a unique opportunity for insurers to gain insight into the litigation process in Latin America. Through a series of virtual presentations, our lawyers from across the region will examine industry trends, tactics, and strategies to handle procedural challenges during the various stages of insurance coverage litigation in Mexico, Chile, and Brazil.

We cordially invite you to attend our second event of the Latin America series hosted by Clyde & Co lawyers from our associated office in Chile. This premier event will focus on Chile’s constitutional reform and its impacts on the insurance industry.

The series begins with a brief explanation of the constitutional process, including the text to be voted in the final referendum, and will focus on the extent to which Chile’s new economic public policy may impact the insurance industry. The discussion will follow with an analysis of insurance dispute resolution and how the current regime may change. This will continue with an overview of how the regulatory changes in the insurance industry in recent years relate to the constitutional process, focusing on the possibility that the State of Chile may be subject to signing insurance contracts. The webinar will conclude with a discussion among the speakers and a Q&A session.
