Scott Glassmoyer represents insurers in complex insurance coverage disputes and bad faith claims related to commercial general liability, environmental, builders risk, commercial property, and excess and umbrella policies. Scott has litigated insurance coverage disputes arising out of claimed errors and omissions at construction projects up and down the West Coast, environmental contamination, product defects, property damage and lost business income at manufacturing, hospitality and retail facilities, habitability claims, and disputes relating to insurers' respective obligations under reinsurance agreements.
In addition to his experience in the field of insurance, Scott also has broad experience handling general complex business litigation matters, including commercial contract disputes as well as real property, construction, environmental and product liability litigation. Scott also gained an understanding of the commercial real estate market from a non-legal perspective while working as a commercial real estate brokerage associate immediately following law school.
