Dilara qualified as a German lawyer (Rechtsanwältin) in 2019. She studied in Hamburg and Paris and completed an internship in London.

Before joining Clyde & Co as an associate in the Hamburg office in 2020 Dilara worked for other international law firms in Hamburg as well as in Cape Town during her legal traineeship.

Dilara's practice focuses on litigation and extensive advice related to the maritime sector, including international commercial disputes, trade, public law and regulatory.

Furthermore, Dilara specialises in advising clients on project contracts in the offshore wind energy sector, including general contract advice, claims handling and the negotiation and drafting of contracts. She accompanies clients in all stages of the realisation of projects from tender proceedings to their execution and litigation cases in that area.

Dilara successfully completed the advanced lawyer's training course and exams in public procurement law in 2021.
