Global law firm Clyde & Co has today announced the appointment of DiAnna Thimjon as its Global Chief Information Officer (CIO).
DiAnna is a leading CIO with more than 20 years' experience operating in leadership teams within the professional and financial services industries. She joined Clyde & Co in January from US law firm Sedgwick LLP, where she led its international IT operations. She has been interim CIO at Clyde & Co since July.
DiAnna will lead the IT department globally, helping to drive transformational change in the function, improving service delivery and ensuring the firm's technology continues to align with the changing needs of its legal teams and supports the firm's innovation strategy.

Clyde & Co is committed to delivering innovative new services and the most efficient and smart services. In 2016 the firm created a global Innovation Board and, in 2017, the firm launched Clyde Code, a first of its kind consultancy for smart contracts, blockchain and tokens. Also in 2017 the firm launched a Data Analytics Lab, a partnership with University College London, which works to identify and extract new forms of value from data.
Prior to Sedgwick, DiAnna served as Vice President and Enterprise Project Officer at American Century Investments, an international, privately held investment management firm. She was also a co-founder and Chief Information Officer for D2Cycles Inc., where she created, built, grew and technologically enabled a B2C, B2B e-commerce retail salvage motorcycle start-up with 2,500 domestic and international customers in more than 30 countries. Her experience also includes serving as associate vice president and group director of Technology at HNTB Holdings LLC, and IT director at Hallmark Cards.
DiAnna also served for five years in the U.S. Army, as a Military Intelligence Officer after earning her bachelors of science degree in computer science engineering and English literature from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
