Peter Dinunzio Joins Clyde & Co in New York

Clyde & Co announced today that Peter Dinunzio has joined the firm's New York office as Senior Counsel in its insurance disputes practice.

Peter was most recently Assistant Vice President of Resolute Management, Inc. (RMI), where he led the unit responsible for the strategy and execution of RMI's handling of underlying asbestos claims.

Michael Knoerzer, managing partner of Clyde & Co's New York office, said, "Peter's knowledge and experience in the management of asbestos claims is on par with any industry leader in the United States. When he made the decision to leave corporate America and join a private practice, we jumped at the chance to add him to our growing national coverage practice."

Peter has nearly a decade of experience in asbestos and environmental pollution exposures and claims. He has served as a senior claims manager and consultant for some of the nation's largest asbestos exposures and has worked regularly with policyholders, brokers, London Market and other domestic and international insurers to handle complex asbestos and environmental claims.

Peter commented, "I am excited to be joining Clyde & Co. I always valued the firm's thoughtful, pragmatic advice on high stakes asbestos and environmental matters and am enthused by the opportunities arising from Clyde & Co's growing US presence and global reach. I hope to be able to help the firm achieve its goal of becoming the leading US insurance coverage practice."

This is the latest in a series of lateral hires for Clyde & Co in the US. The firm hired eight lateral partners in the US over the last 18 months, including professional liability partner Scott Bertschi in Atlanta; maritime and environmental partners Conte Cicala and Joe Walsh in San Francisco and Newport Beach, respectively; and aviation partner Jeffrey Ellis, corporate insurance partner Vikram Sidhu, international arbitration partner Brian Dunning, specie insurance partner Owen Carragher and insurance disputes partner Bob Mangino in New York.
