Joel Morgan represents domestic and foreign insurers in coverage disputes and bad faith claims. Joel focuses his practice on claims made under directors and officers, financial institutions, errors and omissions, professional liability and employment liability insurance policies. Joel also has significant experience representing insurers in coverage and litigation matters pursuant to general liability, property liability, primary and excess casualty, and marine/aviation policies.

Joel has been consistently recognized as a "Rising Star" in his practice by Super Lawyers Magazine.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Joel served as a United States Army officer, including two tours in support of combat operations in Kosovo and Iraq. He is an active pro bono attorney for Swords to Plowshares, a nonprofit organization that provides legal assistance to Bay Area veterans.
