New liability risks due to AI regulations at European level

The use of artificial intelligence (AI) is expanding by leaps and bounds. The legal mechanisms must keep up with this. This raises the question of a legal framework for the use of AI, especially with regard to its regulation and liability rules in the event of damage being caused.

This framework has not yet been set uniformly and centrally, but is also anchored in various legislative initiatives (product liability directive, directive on AI liability and law on artificial intelligence) at European level.
