Our team understands the need for strong transactional support when navigating the process involved in a publicly procured project.  We also understand the difficulties that can arise in seeking to marry up the differing commercial imperatives and strategic or governance objectives of public sector and private sector partners.

We have a long track record of success in advising on a range of large private developers, including Grainger Plc and U+I Plc, and public bodies on a variety of large-scale complex regeneration and redevelopment schemes and associated joint venture arrangements. These schemes often involve the negotiation of partnerships with the public sector supported by our dedicated procurement law team.

Our multi-disciplinary group includes experts in real estate, planning, tax, corporate structures, procurement, subsidy control, and public law.     We have now been involved in the letting of four floors at 22 Bishopsgate, for Fidelis and Canopius. We were involved in all aspects of the transactions, from the negotiation of Heads of Terms, the due diligence process, pre-letting the space and completion. We also assisted with the appointment of the relevant entities’ professional teams for their fit-out works.
