Amritpal (Amrit) Athwal focuses on breach of warranty and consumer law issues. He advises clients on matters involving alleged product defects, breach of warranty claims, and consumer protection issues, drawing on experience gained from both in-house and private practice roles. His work spans all phases of the dispute process, from pre-litigation evaluation and risk assessment through active litigation.
Prior to joining Clyde & Co, Amrit spent years working in-house for a leading global manufacturer, where he managed and evaluated pre-litigation claims involving warranty and consumer law issues. This experience provided him with a practical understanding of risk management, dispute resolution, and the legal and business considerations that influence litigation strategy.
Amrit is fluent in Punjabi. He began his legal career in Canada with a focus on insurance and commercial litigation before relocating to the United States.
