Melissa handles a variety of professional and financial disputes for local and London-based insurers. Skilled at anticipating and measuring legal risk, Melissa offers legal solutions tailored to the client's specific objectives.

She joined Clyde & Co's team in 2016 after having practiced in a leading national Canadian business law firm in Montreal. She has particular expertise and experience in business law, including tax litigation and advice, commercial, contractual, international trade and intellectual property.

Melissa graduated magna cum laude from the University of Ottawa, is trained in both Civil and Common Law and holds a Masters in Tax Law from HEC Montréal, for which she received the Canadian Tax Foundation-Osler, Hoskin and Harcourt Prize for Quebec for 2015-2016. Prior to her studies in law, she completed a Bachelor of Administration with a specialization in Accounting.

Melissa is a member of the Quebec and Ontario Bars, the Young Bar of Montreal and the Canadian Tax Foundation.
