Veronica Dunlop’s practice is focused on maritime and commercial law. She has extensive experience with the investigation and litigation of major marine casualties, cargo disputes and limitation of liability actions, as well as the arrest and attachment of vessels and bank funds. She has also acted in various international commercial and maritime arbitrations, as well as the enforcement of foreign arbitral awards under the New York Convention. She regularly advises on US economic sanctions compliance, charter party disputes, and the drafting and interpretation of international and domestic commercial contracts.
While at Brooklyn Law School, Veronica was an Oralist for the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot and the Monroe E. Price International Media Law Moot. Veronica also earned several awards, including CALI Awards for Excellence in International Investment Law and Arbitration, and Legal Writing; the International Economic Law Prize for overall excellence in the study of international economic law; and the Alexander and Emily Mehr Memorial Prize in recognition of outstanding student advocates in law school Moot Court competitions.
