Full Profile

Cameron qualified into the Employment Team at Clyde & Co in September 2025, having completed her training contract with the firm.

She has experience defending a wide range of Employment Tribunal claims, including wrongful and unfair dismissal, discrimination, harassment and whistleblowing matters. Her non-contentious work includes drafting up-to-date employment policies, reviewing handbooks and employment contracts, and advising clients on various employment issues including capability, grievance and disciplinary procedures.  She also has experience assisting clients with employees’ Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs).

Before qualifying into the Employment Team, Cameron gained experience in civil litigation, advising large insurers and corporate clients on high-value catastrophic loss and construction claims. She now draws on this litigation experience in the employment sector, assisting with drafting applications and defending employment claims in the County Court.

Alongside her work in the Employment Team, Cameron actively volunteers in several pro bono initiatives, including “Not Beyond Redemption” (a charity providing legal advice to mothers in prison), “Chapter One” (supporting children in disadvantaged areas to build confidence and enjoyment in reading), and the “KIND Project” (helping vulnerable undocumented children with their applications for UK citizenship). She is also a member of the Sport & Social Committee, helping to organise social activities for colleagues in the Manchester office.

Experience
  • Drafted a robust Grounds of Resistance in an unfair dismissal claim, resulting in the Claimant withdrawing their claim.
  • Assisted on a complex discrimination and philosophical belief claim that proceeded to the Employment Appeal Tribunal and was dismissed in full.
  • Supported a client through a complex capability procedure involving a difficult employee.
  • Secured a successful settlement for a client in a redundancy claim involving a challenging Claimant.
  • Advised a client on a complex Data Subject Access Request.
