Ruby has advised on a number of tech transactions, working with clients operating in the healthcare, infrastructure, retail and consumer, financial services and technology sectors.   

Ruby is admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales and is a licensed lawyer in Dubai. She completed the Blockchain Strategy Programme at the University of Oxford in 2019.  Ruby graduated with a Bachelor of Laws with Honours degree (LLB Hons) from the University of Bristol, UK in 1997.

Prior to joining Clyde & Co, Ruby was a partner at Pinsent Masons LLP in their London office. She began her legal career at Clifford Chance, in London, where she qualified in 2001.

Experience

• Advising a global private healthcare provider in its negotiations on a cloud services/SaaS agreement with a multinational enterprise software provider for a SaaS solution accessible by employees and authorised third parties in multiple jurisdictions.*
• Advising a global investment management firm on various IT and outsourcing projects, including: (i) a major data centre project, (ii) procurement and integration projects regarding cashless payment vending services; and (iii) the re-negotiation of counter party manager software and managed services.*
• Advising a leading mobile network provider on its commercial contracts with customers and provision of consumer-led regulation.*
• Advising an international life insurance and pensions provider in relation to an agreement with a third-party supplier for bulk annuity administration services.*
• Representing Italy’s largest insurance company in the negotiation of its partnership arrangements with a third party shared value insurance company in relation to the development and marketing of wellness solutions with regards to protection and health insurance products.*
• Advising a leading Shopify Plus agency on its commercial contracts with clients for the design and development of their online stores.*
