Joshua McGraw is a Senior Insurance Coverage Associate whose practice focuses on complex insurance coverage issues. He advises insurers on first- and third-party coverage matters, including issues involving the duty to defend and indemnify, property damage, construction-related claims, and other complex liability matters. His practice includes evaluating claims and coverage issues, developing litigation and resolution strategies, and providing clients with practical recommendations designed to efficiently manage risk and exposure.
Joshua has experience handling matters from the pre-suit stage through final resolution in both state and federal court. His experience includes dispositive motion practice, declaratory judgment actions, discovery, mediation, appraisal, settlement negotiations, and the development of fact and expert evidence. He has obtained favorable summary judgment and declaratory rulings and has successfully negotiated resolutions across a range of first- and third-party matters.
Prior to joining Clyde & Co, Joshua practiced civil litigation with a particular emphasis on insurance coverage and defense. His previous experience also includes matters involving personal injury, contractual disputes, insurance policy interpretation, and construction defects.
