William Prasifka is a legal director in Clyde & Co’s Middle East & Africa Advocacy Unit, based in the Dubai office.
William is one of the leading common law advocates in the Middle East. He has appeared in precedent setting cases including Sandra Holding in the DIFC, A17 v. B17 in the ADGM, as well as the first ever case in the DIFC’s Digital Economy Court. He represents major financial institutions, media and technology companies and various firms operating in the energy and marine sector.
Willaim has a general interest in the interaction between law and emerging technology and frequently delivers public lectures on crypto, fintech and digital assets. He holds a degree in history from Columbia University and a law degree from the University of Cambridge. William accepts appointments to sit as an independent arbitrator.
