Bernadette Raleigh is a Partner in our Dublin office, specialising in advising insurers and corporate policyholders on matters surrounding public and employers’ liability and motor-related injuries. Bernadette also advises ship owners, charterers, operators, brokers, and insurers on maritime law in Ireland.

Bernadette is qualified in Ireland, England and Wales and recently completed a mediation course at Harvard Law School.

Bernadette is a member of the Dublin Solicitors Bar Association (DSBA).

Experience

• Defence of large loss personal injury claims, including catastrophic and fatal claims;
• Defence of large loss staged and exaggerated personal injury claims, including successful recovery of costs on behalf of Insurers;
• Defence of product liability claims for international manufacturers;
• Defence of defamation claims for Irish and international retailers; and
• Defence of criminal prosecutions arising from workplace injuries and fatalities.
